On October 19-20, 2024, under the guidance of the Medical Administration of the National Health Commission and co-sponsored by the health sector and the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine, the Regional Final of the Ninth Season of the National Hospital Challenge Competition for Improving Medical Services (Central South Region) was held in Guangzhou.
The case of "Improving medical experience and improving patient experience - Management Practice of Diabetic Foot Disease in Wound Repair Center" selected by our hospital won the "Outstanding Case" award and successfully qualified for the top 9 national Finals.
A total of 4896 cases participated in the national competition. After strict preliminary screening, online voting, expert review and other links, the cases selected by our institute successfully entered the regional finals in the Central South Region. At the final, after the fierce competition of contestants' speeches, on-site questions and expert ratings, the cases reported by Zheng Jie, head nurse of Wound Repair Center of our hospital stood out from the 76 final cases.
